Why did you want to use AgendaScope?

As a solopreneur with two revenue channels, I didn’t have the luxury of being able to dedicate attention to one area for very long. In mid-2024 I was operating 4 days per week as a fractional resource. The SalesMVPLab product suite could only have 1 day of my attention plus evenings and weekends. Every time I returned to it, I would get dragged into the weeds of specifics leaving my overall direction out of view.

Who uses it in SalesMVPLab?

It’s just me. A founder is a team with a single highly-compartmentalised brain! I can see why AgendaScope works great for teams, it also worked just as well in aligning the silos into which I put my thoughts.

I’m not a “to-do list” guy and, as a coach, I don’t have deliverables that task-based software helps with. AgendaScope gave me a way to quantify options that gave me clarity. It was no longer just me and my internal monologue.

How are you using it?

For my usage, there are two elements. The first is capturing issues with context. AgendaScope is so much better than a hasty “must do” note on my phone or scribbled on a pad.

The second element is consideration. It’s hard to quantify my own internal narrative. But AgendaScope makes me consider issues in this way. It gives me permission to think of options and alternatives.

Now I have context, I’m less prone to recency bias dictating to me and I can retain my “why” better across gaps in time.

What have the outcomes been?

I had an immediate payoff from using AgendaScope. By figuring out the best course of action I was able to arrest the imminent churn of a number of clients and also add some new ones. This gave me an immediate bump in MRR of 26%.

Had I not had AgendaScope it is likely I would have talked myself into a more over-engineered solution that would have taken longer and been overkill. AgendaScope is the antidote to over-thinking!

The more intangible value that I appreciate is less stress and uncertainty. Weekends stop being times when I fret about what I’m not attending to for the business and can be focussed on family. That’s priceless.
